MY SERGEI EKATERINA GORDEEVA

My SERGEI A Love Story EKATERINA GORDEEVA with E.M. Swift

I've been in a reading mood lately and my friend Jan King lent this book to me. What a wonderful story for all ages to read and enjoy.

I am a fan of the Olympics and this is a beautiful love story of two young skaters that met in Moscow and became world renown during their short life together; a real love story.

When you have lost someone and thought you can not go on these are her words of counsel:

"You get on your knees and ask God why it happened. You cannot move. Everything feels broken, especially your legs. YOU must ask God for some help. You must tell God you understand that life goes on, and now you half to skate. You must thank Him for giving you Sergei for half of your life, the most beautiful time in your life. This is about how all people can get up from their knees in the face of adversity, can go forward, can have the strength to persevere You can find someone to live for. You can have a life of your own own."

I don't know if this is on tape yet but I hope it is especially for those who don't read, they can listen.

I have been strengthened buy this great story and hope you enjoy it also.

Pearl, what great pictures of Pam--glad she looks so good. Your blog is wonderful. I would love a copy of your picture where it states you have three sisters. I haven't seen that one before.
Love you!
