Carlyn

Carlyn's back yard. Stanly and Jason help keep it up.

This fountain is so pretty. Judy, Pearl and Carlyn. Now it was John's turn to pose :)
The front of Carlyn's home.

Sherrie with her dog and Judy said it was too bright to keep her eyes opened but she let me take her picture anyway. Thats a good friend. :)

Carlyn,Judy and Sherrie and the dog. We knew we were at the right home because we recognized this famous licence plate. They have had it for years.

We had so much fun visiting with them. We gave them Five Crowns and played the game up and down. It seemed to go faster if you started with 13.
Sherrie had a new game. It was LCR I think. It was a lot of fun and they are going to send us one. I've looked around her but haven't found one yet.
After we left they had lots of company and Carlyn said they wore the cards out. Said they looked like ours and ours were a lot older. We're glad they liked the game and Pam and I hope to see them again soon.

We drove to Prim Monday the 6th. The traffic was only conjested the last 15 minutes. We were glad we only went part way. The next morning we got up bringt and early and had a great visit as you can read all of the above first.

Traveling to Payson UT for 55 Reunion

We always stop in Beaver at the Chevron Gas Station. The first exit coming from St.George. There is a big rocker that most of our family have had their pictures taken in or around with the exception of my dad. He didn't want to stop and broke my heart. We have some great shots of mama.

They were having a petting zoo and John took some pictures of the animals. We bought Carl Butler some squeaky cheese and when we took it to him I took a picture of him and the McMullin truck. It is the oldest truck on the orchard and runs like "a charm". They are very proud of it.

Wendi and Owen

Wendi Owen and John. We think Owen might of thought John was his Grandpa Gordon. He climed up on his lap and was so cute visiting with us.
,

We got gas at Costco and called Wendi and she said we could come over for a visit. She was so happy to see us, said "no one comes to her home," they meet at her parents, Gordon and Kay. We had a short visit. We had to go back to Ivins, Salty had a Sunday School Class to teach and we forgot too late to get a sub:(

"SETH"

This sign really caught my eye. I've never been to a son or grandson who lived at the Y. I had granddaughters so I didn't have the problem of seeing their room. Next visit we'll send Grandpa up with the camera. Thanks to Seth's blog we can see some of his room.
Seth and his campus ward hiked up to the Y about 10:30 a.m. He enjoyed the hike very much. We're hoping to see him again soon and take him to lunch or dinner.

Saturday the 4th of September we visited with Seth on the BYU Campus. He lives in a brand new building and it is so new it didn't even have a name yet. It was referred to as building "J"

Blueberry Family Resturant

Blueberry Family Restaurant
Jane and Randy had told us about this restaurant a long time ago and Pam and I decided we wanted to take Danny there before he caught the plane. It was every bit as good as they told us. We did find out to get the best specials you needed to be there before 9:00p.m. but we had a good time anyway.

We had a fun time trying to find out if Danny had a ride from the airport to his home. We never did find out who ended up picking him up but he made it and that was good.
Danny ordered Chicken Alfredo ,Pam had waffles, ice cream and tons of whip cream, I had chocolate chocolate chip pancakes like we use to have at the ranch. Pam ate my whip cream. No picture of Danny. Pam and Danny ate all of their food I took mine home and we ate on it for two days. The restaurant is opened 24/7 and was great. We hope to go back again soon, the prices were very reasonable .

Getting Danny ready to go to the airport

The back of Pam's trunk. This wasn't all of Danny's luggage. He had his lap top, a carry on and a duffel bag. Everything had to be weighed at the airport.
Carry on's had to weigh 25 lbs. large suitcases could only weigh 50lbs.
Did he make it?

Las Vegas Temple

Pam took Danny and I to the Las Vegas Temple September 11, 2010. That evening we put him on the plane to BYU Hawaii.

Here are a few pictures we took.

We had a great time. Pam met us and we took some more pictures.
These are beautiful temple grounds.
After we went to lunch,Danny worked on the computer, slept a little and then we went to the pool area and played Five Crowns and Hand and Foot. After the first game Danny got on his suit and he and Pam swam a little and then we finished the game and went upstairs to prepare to get Danny ready to go to the airport.

Airport

Danny had left some papers at our room so Pam and I went back and found them. By the time we got back he found out that his carry on was too heavy. He rearranged and finally got everything in that he thought he should take. I brought some reading material in Spanish home. Maybe we can take them to him in November when we go for Thanksgiving.
Danny is happy, he found a job and gets one meal a shift. Pretty good for a college student.
We fly Hawaiian Airlines. That is new to me. I'm sure it will be fun.
Danny is happy with everything he got when he landed at the airport. We are glad we finally heard more about the trip to his home. He finally got on the plane after 12:00 a.m. Sunday Morning. Pam and I took a nap????

Annette didn't come but Eliza, Jonah, Danny, Grandpa John,Grandma Pearl, were there with Aunt Pam and Uncle David.
We had ribs, potato salad, corn on the cob etc. Everything was delicious. We played game of Hand and Foot before we left. Aunt Pam and Grandma Pearl WON!!! Yea for us.

Dee and Ed + Lions Club Breakfast

September 4 2010, we had breakfast in the park for Payson Homecoming. We had stayed with Dee and Ed and supported the Lions club. The breakfast was delicious and way too big for my tummy, but it was so good.
