Salt Lake Tournament August 4-5-2009

Fran Dowell, one of the directors of the Hennesey Tournaments. This was the name of the tournament in SLK

Anita Hatch has moved to Sandy, UT. I was her visiting teacher and she was kind enough to come visit us at John's softball game. It was one of the highlights of the tournament.

Anita was so sweet to come to the park and visit with us and take some pictures with us. It was a fun experience.

Doug and Jan Spainhower. John and Doug went to school in Payson. He sometimes plays on John's traveling team.

Clark Christensen, also on John's traveling team. He is a great ball player and likes to be on the same team as Salty.

Salty standing in front on the Senior Softball Banner. Porter Phillips from Vernal. He is 77 years young and has played on our team before. A delight to be around.
Some more loyal fans from Murray. Lana came about 4 years ago. She brings her boys and they have a lot of fun. Ben is the oldest is playing baseball now. He also started piano lessons. I expect to hear you play one day Ben. :)

Lana Baadsgaard Beal, Aunt Pearl, baby Samuel and Ben.

Benjamin, Samuel, Pearl, Grandma Lue and Jacob

What a sweet baby Samuel is. He never fussed a bit. Watched everyone and was friendly to everyone who spoke to him Getting redy to go home. One game was enough but they did have fun!!!
Samuel seemed to like John's finger.

The sun is too bright for Jacob and Samuel wanted to set on his mom's lap for this picture. He was ready to go home where it was a little cooler.

Samuel Ray Beal came to watch Great Uncle John play senior softball. He is three months old. Is he a cutie or what?

Where's my umbrella ,Mom? Don't let me get sunburned, OK?

Jacob and Ben to the top of the bleachers. They brought their seats with backs on and were all ready to watch the game. Please come down I thought to myself.

Hill Force Color Guard presentd the colors and it was just beautiful All of the teams were out on the diamond and a beautiful girl sang our National Antham. I'm sorry I didn't get a picture or her name. Shame on me. :(

Lana's cute kids look like Baadsgaards! Aunt Lue is a proud grandmother. :)
