Nevada, Reno. The ceremony started exactly at 8:00 a.m. We met in the garden area of the campus. It was a little chilly at first but by 9:00a.m. we could feel the warm sun. Alvie had 9 family members to witness this event. We all had a great time and here are some of the photos taken that morning.
The graduates linning up
Here come the graduates, almost on a run. The University of Nevada, Reno Brass Ensemble played and it was excellent. We could of stayed there all day and listened. I've never been more moved by our Natonal Anthem.
We wondered if anyone was going to show up.
Aunt Linda looking so pretty and sooo excited to see all of us. :)
Alvie came to see us afterthe ceremony so we could get some pictures . Thanks Alvie, I know we are pests but it doesn't happen very often, graduating from college I mean.
Sariah,Alvie and Grandma Pearl. Grandma Pearl and Grandpa Pete traveled from Ivins, UT to see the first of 3 graduations this month. Sat. 15 May 2010.
Grandpa Pete, (John) and Alvie.
Uncle Clair and Aunt Linda Evans came from Boise, Idaho to see Alvie. They hadn't seen him for about 18 years. Boy has he changed.!!!! Clair and Linda had rooms at Circus. They were very close to campus.
Sariah and Alvie Hafen. Sariah was thrilled that her brother graduated.
Uncle David Munsterman,Alvie and Pamela. Pam got all of our rooms at the same site so we were able to caravan together.

Very proud Mom.
Sariah,Annette, Alvie and John after the graduation. John saved 11 seats for us. We all arrived at different times, we were glad we didn't half to search for our seats.

Pam and David just waiting to go to the Grand Serria where we stayed. A real "plush casino resort". Thanks Pam.
There were 2000 graduates and boy did they do a great job. Everything went smooth and we had a great time. This was after everyone had left ---but us. We needed our Taxi, Annette.
Pam waiting for Annette to bring the car around.
Pretty nice looking building. They had a private party for the first graduating class and they had VIP seating on the balcony.
This is the oldest building on Campus. They were having a private party so we couldn't go inside.
The entry way into the resort. They were magnificant.

Look at these Pony Express riders. They were handing the mail pouches to one another as they carried the mail to other territories. This is the 150 year anniversary of the Pony Expressss and many communities were reinacting this wonderful event. This was inside the building near the registeration desk.
