Jane registering all of us. Randy and Allie in the front of the pack.
August 29,2009 Seth's Cross Country Team had a 5 K to benefit his high school, Thunder Ridge and other schools in the district. The plan was to take Sheila with us and I would push her in the wheelchair but Friday night she decided she wasn't up to it so I went over to Jane's Friday night and went with her and the Guthrie Clan. It was a lot of fun and here are a few pictures telling you about the event.
Melissa was telling Marie and Tessa how important it was to stretch before the race.
Melissa pacing herself with the Thornbrew children, she was a real sport to do that.
We were "helping hands", the stroller got stuck in the soft sand so we picked it up and helped carry it to the road. Allie, Melissa,Marie and a dog with his shirt on, so cute . Grandma Jane was busy taking pictures for Grandma Pearl.
The finish line with most of us there to have our picture taken. Allie is holding her ribbon for 3rd place. A pleasant surprise.
These were posted in the windows after the race. Fun for the girls to see their names and ages.
I wanted front and back pose of my shirt. I use it to walk in and I feel very safe. There is no double I can be seen. This is the other walking outfit I use. Annette helped me with the bright trunks. :)

Excellent running attire. And Grace has three corn stalks coming out of one hole. Two of them actually grew corn, although they were dwarfs.
It was a fun race for everybody. Grandma Pearl did a great job finishing the 5K with Jane. We were glad that she was able to join us, and we're also happy she can use that bright shirt to walk in.
Come again MOM that was fun to have you here!
Great to see you're in running shape. I can't wait to get back into wateraerobics. Oh, by the way, my blog "handle" is actually nanashanna NOT nanabanana. :)
Had hoped to get to Padre Lakes for November. Husband has to have sinus surgery so you won't see us until January. Happy Halloween!
